How old do I have to be?
In order to be eligible for our Youth Services, you would need to be between the ages of 16-21. We do also have programs for Adults over 18 and Dislocated Workers.
What are the requirements to be in WIA?
Besides the age requirement, you would also need to be a low income individual and be a citizen or national of the United States. If you are a male over the age of 18 you must be registered with Selective Services. To be further eligible, you must have at least one identified barrier. Your Career Advisor can help determine which barrier(s) you may possess.
What do I have to do to get in the program?
Contact our office nearest you to set-up an appointment (refer to the Contact Us page) or click on the "Apply Today!" link at the top of the page and fill out the short application to start the process.
What do I need to do as a participant in the program?
Your Career Advisor will assist you and do all that he or she can in order to help you be successful. However, the work is your responsibility. You need to follow through and make use of support given.
